While the books were good in general, I was disappointed to discover mild cursing in a few of them, in fact other than the Amish books, most of the stories don't even mention God other than to take His name in vain. There was also a story with premarital sex as if it were a completely acceptable thing. The whole reason I read Christian fiction is so I don't have to worry about such things. Would have been much better if more of the characters showed faith and if the cursing had been omitted. Other authors are able to show unsavory characters without it and in these it wasn't even limited to the bad guys. The Scottish stories also need a trigger warning. Not that they go into detail but sometimes just the hint of it is enough.
This is a awesome set of great stories. I have only had the chance to read one. But loved the story. The first one was s short read. But the author did a great job with the charactersShauna Joesten
I really enjoyed the lovely romp thru the stories. The small set of Amish books needed a bit more or the set would have 5 stars.
Too much language in Scotland books but otherwise great reading. This will was a great deal and hours of reading
I enjoyed all the stories but it was a lot of samples from several authors. I wanted to read more but could not afford to buy the of the series so had to imagine what happens next.
Like the way authors keep it clean and short. I like to finish the story, not stay up all night.
Enjoyed all the different sets. My favorite was the Highlands Series. I liked that the different authors books were connected to make one long story.
