The author Charles Henter also feels this way as he mentions this in the introduction of his book. The book is easier to understand than most books that pertain to such a serious issue as employment law. Take your time as you read it and follow the direction as Charles explains it, step by step. You will eventually determine if you still feel strong about your case...or not. After I purchased this book and read it, I still felt strong about my case and actually made an appointment with Mr. Henter. I will close this review with these words..."we could only wish most all attorneys were like Charles Henter".
I always wanted to have a book like that , that would explain to me in terms that I can understand, the important things thatI should know. On top of being very informative, and really covering all the questions I had, it was easy and fun to read. I recommend it as a must to all working people. In fact I plan to give it to a bunch of my colleagues for Christmas.

I read this book hoping to get some information about legal avenues I could pursue to resolve problems with my employer. I confess I wasn't eager to sit down and work my way through a book on employment law, figuring it would be dense, dry, and confusing. I was so happy to be wrong. Light-hearted, humorous, with a conversational style, this was an easy read, while still leaving me with a wealth of new information. I think it should be required reading for anyone who will ever work for anyone, as I know I'm going to be looking at future work contracts with a whole new, more informed, eye. The author takes challenging concepts and simplifies them, encouraging readers to separate what is unfair from what is illegal, offering resources and avenues to pursue, and providing information about how to to think about employment related legal issues so that you can have honed questions for a lawyer (which no doubt will save time and money). A great read, and I can't recommend it highly enough. I only wish there was a print version so I can buy them as gifts.

Great book, easy read. I higly recommend this book to any employee and I think you should acquire it as soon as possible. I have had legal training, and even I found it immensely helpful.
